Create group designations for group meetings

Create group designations, assign participants, and connect them to a group meeting.

Group designations let you reuse different group constellations across a learning journey. A group meeting uses one selected group designation at a time.


Create the group designation

Open the People area. Start in the learning journey and add participants if they are not already there.

Create the designation. Give it a name that makes it easy to tell apart from other constellations later, choose how many groups you want, pick a base name for those groups, and decide whether participants should be assigned automatically or manually.

Adjust the groups

  • Add or remove groups. Open all group designations when you need to change the structure.

  • Move participants. Rebalance the groups when you want a different mix.

  • Change the group leader. Pick another participant when someone else should coordinate the meeting.

  • Create more than one designation. Use different constellations for different activities in the same learning journey.

Use it in a group meeting

  1. Open the group meeting activity.

  2. Go to the Groups section.

  3. Select the group designation that should apply to that meeting.

  4. Review the selected groups before invitations are sent.
