How do I join a thread as a manager?

Find Threads in the manager view, join conversations, reply, and manage thread notifications.

If a learning journey uses Threads, you can join conversations from the manager view. Threads can be used for questions, announcements, or general discussion between participants, managers, and the organization running the journey.

The hardest part is often finding them. Open the learning journey as a manager and look for Threads in the menu.

Open Threads

Choose Threads in the manager menu.

From there, you can:

  • browse all threads

  • sort by latest activity or creation date

  • open a thread to read comments and replies

  • start a new thread if your organization allows it

  • reply or comment in an existing thread

Some learning journeys also use thread categories. If categories are available, choose the category that best matches your question or conversation.

Start or reply to a thread

To start a new conversation, choose New thread. Add a clear title and write your post. Depending on the setup, you may be starting a general thread, asking a question, or posting an announcement.

To join an existing conversation, open the thread and write a comment or reply.

If you see an answer that resolves a question, you may be able to mark it as an answer. Use that only when it helps other readers understand which reply solved the question.

Manage notifications

Inside a thread, use Subscribe if you want notifications about new activity in that thread. Use Unsubscribe if you no longer want notifications from it.

Subscribing to one thread does not mean you receive notifications for every thread in the learning journey.

If you cannot see Threads

If Threads is missing, the learning journey may not use threads, or your organization may not have made them available for this journey.

Ask the organization that invited you if you expected a thread or discussion area and cannot find it.
