Changing your organisation's logo and brand colour

Upload your organisation's logo and set your primary colour in Organisation settings, under Branding.

Your organisation's logo and primary colour help people recognise that a learning journey belongs to your organisation. Admins set both in your organisation settings, under Branding.

Where to set your logo and colour

Open Branding in your organisation settings. There are two things you can change:

  • Logo — upload your organisation's logo with Upload a new logo. Knowly accepts PNG and JPEG files.

  • Colors — set your Primary color, the main brand colour used for buttons, links, and highlights across Knowly.

Choosing a logo

Use a clear version of the logo that works at small sizes. Avoid files with a lot of empty space around the logo, since that can make it look small in Knowly.

Choosing a primary colour

Your primary colour shows up on buttons, links, and highlights, so pick one with enough contrast against white and light backgrounds.

Knowly shows small count badges — like unread or pending counts — in a notification colour, which is red by default. If your organisation uses the Knowly inbox, you can change it here under Notification color; pick one that contrasts with your primary colour so those badges stay easy to spot. Without the inbox there's no colour setting to change, so the badges stay red.

Organisation branding and teams

Changes here apply across the whole organisation. If a single team needs its own logo or colour, it can set its own branding instead — see team settings. If your organisation has brand guidelines, check the approved logo file and colour before you update Knowly.
