Organisation settings affect the whole Knowly organisation. Use them for shared settings that should apply across teams and learning journeys.
When to use organisation settings
Use organisation settings when the change belongs to the organisation itself, not to one person, team, or learning journey.
Common examples include:
organisation name
sign-in and access setup
shared brand settings
settings that affect several teams
If the change only affects one team, use team settings. If it only affects your own account, use your account profile.
Who can change organisation settings
Organisation-wide settings are usually limited to admins with broad access. If you cannot see or edit the setting you need, ask an organisation admin to help.
Be careful with changes that affect sign-in, branding, or access. They can change the experience for many people at once.
Organisation settings and teams
Teams sit inside the organisation. They can have their own members, learning journeys, and settings, but they still belong to the same Knowly organisation.
Use organisation settings for shared rules and team settings for team-specific changes.
