Team settings

Use team settings for changes that belong to one team rather than the whole organisation.

Team settings control the parts of Knowly that belong to one team. Use them when a change should affect that team without changing the whole organisation.

When to use team settings

Use team settings for team-specific administration, such as:

  • updating the team name

  • managing who belongs to the team

  • reviewing team-level access

  • keeping team ownership clear

Use organisation settings instead when the change should apply across the whole Knowly organisation.

Teams and learning journeys

Learning journeys live in a team. The team helps decide who can find, manage, and work with those learning journeys.

If a learning journey belongs in another part of the organisation, move it between teams rather than moving it to another Knowly organisation.

Team settings and roles

Team roles are useful when someone should help in one team but should not become an admin for the whole organisation.

If someone needs access across every team and every learning journey, review the organisation-level roles instead.
