As an admin, you use Knowly for two kinds of work: building learning journeys and managing the organisation around them. This article helps you find the organisation-level areas that make learning journeys easier to run.
Account and organisation settings
Your account profile is where you manage your own name, email, password, and notification preferences.
Organisation settings are for settings that affect everyone in the organisation, such as organisation name, brand settings, sign-in setup, and other shared defaults.
Team settings are separate. Use them when the change belongs to one team, such as team name, team members, or team-level access.
Roles, teams, and access
Roles decide what someone can see and do in Knowly. Teams help separate learning journeys, people, branding, and ownership inside the same organisation.
If someone should help administer Knowly, start with roles. If someone should only work within a narrower part of the organisation, review teams and team ownership before making them an organisation-wide admin.
Inbox and admin notifications
The Inbox shows admin notifications from learning journeys you follow, such as suitable moments to send reminders, thread posts, and internal comments where someone mentioned you.
You can adjust your notification preferences globally and per learning journey. Following a learning journey is what lets Knowly send you those journey-level admin notifications.
Privacy, data, and plan access
Use the privacy and data articles when someone asks about GDPR, personal data export, deletion, or closing an organisation.
If a feature is visible but locked, If a feature is locked explains what that usually means and what to check before contacting Knowly.
