Some features in Knowly can be visible but locked. That usually means your organisation does not currently have access through its plan, add-on, or setup.
What a locked feature means
A locked feature is not broken. Knowly is showing that the feature exists, but your organisation cannot use it yet.
The lock may be connected to:
your Knowly plan
an Enterprise feature
a required integration, such as directory sync
a permission or role
a feature that needs Knowly to help set it up
What to check first
Before contacting Knowly, check:
whether another admin in your organisation can use the feature
whether the article for that feature mentions a plan or integration requirement
whether you are in the right team or organisation
whether your role gives you permission to use the feature
If the feature still looks unavailable, contact Knowly with the feature name, the screen where you saw it, and what you were trying to do.
When the feature needs setup
Some features need configuration before they can be used, even if they are included in your plan. For example, SSO or directory-based features may need help from your IT or identity team.
Knowly can help you confirm whether the next step is a plan change, a setup step, or a permission change.
