Use this guide when you want to create a dynamic list in Lists. It covers naming the list, adding filters, and checking Current users on this list before you click Create list.
Availability
Dynamic lists are available for Enterprise organizations with SCIM directory sync enabled.
If the Dynamic List option is locked with a Requires SCIM integration or Enterprise badge, your organization does not have access yet.

Open Lists and start a new list
Open Lists from the organization menu in Knowly with Teams.
Click New list.
Choose Dynamic List.
The Create dynamic list drawer opens. Here you name the list, add filters, and review the users who currently match.

Name the list
Choose a name that will still make sense later when you use the list in a learning journey, for example Sales - Sweden or New hires this quarter.
Add filters
Each filter row has three parts:
an attribute
a comparison
a value
Together, the rows decide which users belong on the list.
Combining filter rows. If the list has more than one row, choose whether the rows should be joined by and or or.
and narrows the list: users must match every row.
or widens the list: users match when any row matches.
Preview. The Current users on this list panel updates while you add filters. Use it to check that the list matches the people you expect before you create it.

Review the list before you create it
Before you click Create list:
Check the name. You can rename the list later, but a clear name makes it easier to reuse.
Check the match count. A zero match or a surprisingly high match usually means the filters need adjustment.
Check that filters are what you intend. Filters cannot be changed after the list is created.
When everything looks right, click Create list. The list is created immediately and starts following the users who match the filters.
After the list is created
You can rename the list or delete it at any time.
You cannot edit the filters. If the audience needs to change, create a new list with the new filters.
The list can now be used with Add from list or Connect dynamic list in a learning journey.
