Resources available to you as a manager

Find manager-only and shared resources in a learning journey and understand who can access each file.

Some learning journeys include files or links that help you support your employees. Open Resources in the manager view to see what has been shared with you.

Your organization decides which resources to add. Some journeys include several files, while others do not use resources at all.

Open Resources

Open the learning journey as a manager and choose Resources in the menu.

Resources can be grouped in two ways:

Manager resources. Files and resources that are only available to you in your manager role.

Shared resources. Files and resources that are available to both you and the participants.

If your organization uses another role name, such as coach or mentor, manager resources are still the resources directed at that role.

Use manager resources

Manager resources can include guidance, templates, reading material, or files your organization wants you to use when supporting employees.

Open or download the file you need. If a file does not make sense without more context, ask the organization running the learning journey how they expect you to use it.

Use shared resources

Shared resources are visible to both you and the participants. They can help you understand what participants have been given outside the activity timeline.

Use shared resources when you want to refer to the same file or material as your employees.

If resources are missing

If Resources is empty, the learning journey may not include any files for managers.

If you expected to find a specific file, contact the organization that invited you. They can check whether the file was added, whether it was directed at managers, and whether you are connected to the right learning journey.
