Online reports: share evaluation results

Share evaluation results with stakeholders through an online report link.

Online reports let you share evaluation results with people who need to see the outcome without working inside Knowly. The report opens through a link and shows selected evaluation results in a readable format.

Use an online report when a stakeholder needs to review results, but does not need access to edit the learning journey.

When to use an online report

An online report is useful when you want to share results with:

  • a sponsor or customer

  • a manager group

  • a facilitator

  • another stakeholder who needs the outcome, not the setup

If the person needs raw data for analysis, an export may be a better fit. If they need to work in Knowly, invite them with the right role instead.

Create the report

Open the evaluation results and choose the option to share an online report. Knowly creates a link that you can send to the people who should read the results.

Review the report before you share the link. Make sure the content is appropriate for the audience and that you are not sharing more participant detail than needed.

Update or stop sharing

If the results change, check the online report again before you reuse the link. If you no longer want stakeholders to access the report, remove or disable the shared report from Knowly.

Use a new report when the audience, purpose, or result set changes enough that the old link could be misleading.

Share carefully

An online report is easier to forward than an in-app view. Treat the link as something that could reach people outside the original audience.

Before you send it, consider whether the report includes written answers, small-group results, or comments that could identify a participant.
