Removing a participant from a learning journey

Learn what happens when you remove a participant from one learning journey.

Remove a participant from a learning journey when they should no longer take part in that specific journey. This is different from deleting the person from your organization.


What removal means

The participant is removed from the journey and should no longer receive journey communication. Their organization account may still exist, and they may still be part of other journeys.


Before you remove someone

Check whether the person was added by mistake, left the program, or should be moved to another journey. If you need to keep records, review engagement before removal.


Directory or list-based audiences

If the participant is added through a connected list or dynamic list, check the source audience too. Otherwise they may be added again later.
