Remove a participant from a learning journey when they should no longer take part in that specific journey. This is different from removing the person from your organization, which takes them out of everything at once.

Open the People page on the learning journey, find the participant, and open the menu on their row. Choose Delete. Knowly asks you to confirm, because this permanently deletes the person from this learning journey including all the data collected for them here — their test answers, submissions, and engagement in this journey go with them.

Once removed, the participant no longer gets any communication from this journey and is no longer part of it. Their organization account stays as it is, and so does their place in any other journeys. Only this journey is affected.

Removing a participant also removes their connection to their manager here, along with the manager emails tied to that person. If that participant was the only one a manager followed in this journey, the manager drops out of the journey too — a manager stays only while they're connected to at least one participant. Since the person's results for this journey are deleted too, review their engagement first if you need to keep any record of it. Then check whether they were added by mistake, left the program, or should be moved to another journey instead.

If the person should no longer have access to anything — for example, they've left the company — remove them from your organization instead. That takes them out of every learning journey at once. See Removing a participant from your organisation.

If the participant was added through a connected list or dynamic list, check the source audience too. Otherwise the list may simply add them back later.
