You can export a JSON file with the personal data connected to your Knowly account in the organisation you are currently signed in to. The file helps you review your account details, directory profile details when available, settings, personal learning journey activity, answers, discussions, messages you have written, and basic metadata for files you uploaded.
What the export includes
The export focuses on personal data connected to you in the current organisation. It can include:
your account details, app settings, notification settings, and directory profile details when available
your profile picture metadata, when you have one
your teams and roles in learning journeys
your progress, answers, quiz attempt results, activities, and discussion posts
text you submitted in assignments, plus group meeting messages or notes that can be tied to you
peer sprint intake answers and peer group presentation text that can be tied to you
messages you have written in Knowly conversations
metadata for files you uploaded, such as file name, file type, and upload date
The export does not include file contents, internal Knowly identifiers, full organisation-owned learning journey content, reports, or other people's answers. Anonymous survey submissions are not included as personal answers, because Knowly stores those responses without tying the answer row back to a named participant. You may see a small amount of context, such as learning journey names, group names, question text, discussion titles, or the name of a manager or participant connected to your role, so the export makes sense.
If you use Knowly in more than one organisation, repeat the export in each organisation where you want a copy of your data.
