You can delete your own Knowly account yourself, from your account settings. Deleting it removes your account and erases the personal data tied to it across every learning journey you're in — so this is the option for when you're done with Knowly entirely, not for stepping out of a single journey.
Delete your account
Open Knowly and go to your personal settings.
Open the Account tab.
Choose Delete my account.
Confirm with Yes, delete my account.
This can't be undone. Your account and the personal data connected to it are removed from all your learning journeys at once.
If you don't see the option
Two things can hide the Delete my account button:
Your organization signs you in through single sign-on or directory sync. When your access is managed by your organization's identity provider, you can't delete your own account from inside Knowly. Ask your IT team or whoever runs Knowly in your organization to remove you there instead.
You're still a member of one or more teams. Knowly then shows a message asking you to leave those teams first. Once you're no longer on a team, the delete option comes back.
If you only want to leave one learning journey
If you just want to stop taking part in a single journey — not remove your whole account — deleting your account is more than you need. You can't take yourself out of one journey on your own, but the organization running it can remove you. See How do I unsubscribe from Knowly emails? for how to stop the emails.
If you're an admin looking to remove someone else from your organization rather than deleting your own account, see Removing a participant from your organisation.
