You add an image by placing an Image element in a micro training slide and uploading a picture — Knowly can crop and adjust it before it goes in, and you can add alt text and a caption. Images work best when they clarify something faster than text can.
Add an image element
On a micro training slide, use the plus (+) to add an element and choose Image under Content and layout. In the image's settings, use Add image... to upload your picture — jpg, png, gif, svg, or webp up to 10 MB each — and Edit image to crop or adjust it before it goes in.
Describe the image
In the same settings, add Alt text so people using a screen reader — or anyone whose image doesn't load — still get the point. You can also add an Image caption, shown under the picture. See Adding alt text and making media accessible for what to write.
Size it on the slide
Use Size in the image's settings to control how large the image appears.
Keep it readable and appropriate
Keep images relevant and readable, and free from sensitive personal data. For accepted formats and sizes, see File limits and accepted formats.
