Building a learning journey

Understand what a learning journey is made of and how to start building one in Knowly.

A learning journey in Knowly is a sequence of activities that helps participants work through content, practice, answer questions, meet others, and apply what they learn. You build the journey first, then decide when and how it should go live.

What you build

A learning journey can include Micro trainings, Knowledge tests, Assignments, Direct messages, Group meetings, Evaluations, Manager registration, resources, and notifications. You choose the activity types that fit the goal.

Before you add activities

Decide who the journey is for, what participants should be able to do afterwards, and whether managers should have their own role. That makes it easier to choose the right activity types and write clear instructions.

What comes later

Building the journey is separate from launching it. Scheduling, publishing, adding participants, reminders, and access links belong to the go-live phase.
