Internal comments in a learning journey

Discuss a learning journey with other admins using internal Comments — on the journey, an activity, a slide, or a notification — and choose how often Knowly emails you about them. Team plan and up.

Internal comments let admins discuss a learning journey without changing anything participants see. They're useful for review, handover, questions, and notes to whoever builds next.

Availability

  • Internal comments are available for organizations on the Team plan and higher.

  • If your plan doesn't include them, you won't see the option to add comments while building a learning journey.

What comments are for

Use comments to ask another admin to review content, point out something that should change, or explain why a decision was made. Mention another admin in a comment when you want them to see it.

Where you'll find comments

Open a learning journey and you can leave a Comments note on the journey as a whole or on a specific activity. Inside a Micro training you can go finer and attach a comment to a single slide or a specific piece of text, and you can comment on a notification while you're editing it. Each place shows how many comments it holds, so another admin can tell there's something to read.

Choose how often Knowly emails you about comments

Your own notification settings decide when Knowly emails you about comments from other admins. On the learning journey's Settings page, under Notifications for you personally, pick one of:

  • Email me about all comments by other admins — for work you're following closely.

  • Only email me when another admin mentions me — quieter, but you still hear when someone tags you.

  • Never email me about comments by other admins — no comment emails at all.
