Participants can be added before launch or while a learning journey is already running. The best method depends on the journey type, audience size, and whether your organization uses lists.
Common ways to add participants
Add people one by one.
Import participants from Excel or CSV.
Connect a list or dynamic list.
Let participants register through a sign-up flow when the journey uses one.

Before you add people
Check that each participant has the contact details the journey needs. Email-based journeys need email addresses, and SMS-based communication needs phone numbers.
After you add people
Review the schedule or invitation timing before you finish. In individual learning journeys, each participant may also need an anchor date.
