Knowly does not generate certificates or diplomas. There's no built-in feature that issues a "completed" certificate after a participant finishes a learning journey, and there's no template you can configure to send one automatically.
What does exist is a record of what the participant actually completed inside the journey. If your organization wants to give participants something to show, you build it from that record, outside Knowly.
What Knowly tracks
For each participant, Knowly keeps:
which activities they opened
which activities they completed
their answers and submissions
their knowledge test results, if the journey has a knowledge test
This information lives in the engagement view of the learning journey and in engagement reports. It's a clear record of participation — just not a packaged document.
If you're a participant looking for a certificate
Knowly doesn't issue diplomas or certificates of its own. If the learning journey was set up by an organization or trainer, the certificate — if there is one — comes from them, not from Knowly. Reach out to the person who invited you to the journey and ask whether they issue one.
If you're a trainer or admin who needs a certificate flow
There's no built-in option to generate certificates from Knowly. Realistic ways to provide one:
Issue certificates manually outside Knowly. Use your own template or design system. Check the engagement report to confirm who actually completed the journey before issuing.
Use the engagement report as the proof of participation. For internal compliance or attendance tracking, the per-participant report from the journey often replaces the need for a formal certificate.
Recognize completion inside the journey. An end-screen, a closing micro training, or a final message can mark completion in-product without requiring a separate document.
