You received an email from Knowly because an organization you are connected to has invited you to take part in a learning journey. That organization might be your employer, a course provider, a consultant, or another group running training through Knowly.
Knowly is the platform they use to send activities, reminders, questions, and learning material.
What the email is asking you to do
Most Knowly emails ask you to open a learning journey or complete one activity in it. Depending on the journey, you might be asked to:
read a short message
answer reflection questions
complete a micro training
take a knowledge test
join a group meeting
fill in an evaluation
The email should explain who invited you and what the next step is. Click the button or link in the email when you are ready to open Knowly.
How to check that the email is real
If you were not expecting the email, it is reasonable to pause before clicking. You can check a few things first:
The email should mention the organization, learning journey, or topic you have been invited to.
The link should open a Knowly page, usually on a knowly.com address.
The message should not ask you to send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information by email.
If you are unsure, ask the person or organization that invited you whether they are using Knowly.
Important. Knowly emails can contain personal access links. Do not forward your link to someone else unless the person who invited you tells you to.
If you do not recognize the invitation
If the email looks like a mistake, contact the organization named in the email first. They can confirm whether you were meant to be invited.
If you cannot tell who invited you, or if the email looks suspicious, contact Knowly support at [email protected]. Include the email address that received the message and, if possible, the subject line of the email.
If you do not want the emails
If you are part of the learning journey but do not want reminder emails, you can unsubscribe from Knowly emails. Use the unsubscribe link in the email, or ask the organization that invited you to remove or unsubscribe you.
